HOTEL REGULATIONS

Pursuant to Article 37 of the Special Rules and Standards relating to Hotels and Restaurants, Official Gazette RS 22/1995 of 22 April 1995 and in connection with other provisions of these Rules and Standards the Managing Director of Krajc Hotels Ltd. lays down for the City Hotel Ljubljana premises at 15 Dalmatinova Street in Ljubljana the following

CITY HOTEL REGULATIONS

1. General Provisions
1.1. The Hotel Rules form part of the Hotel Services Agreement signed between the hotel company (hereinafter referred to as Host) and the guest (hereinafter referred to as Guest) under which hotel rooms are permitted to be used as well as other common use areas and other services to which the Hotel Rules shall apply mutatis mutandis.
1.2. It shall be deemed that a Guest has agreed with the Hotel Rules upon taking over from the Host a hotel room which the Guest occupies in accordance with the previously signed Hotel Services Agreement.

2. Check-in/out, ID document, payment security
2.1. The Host shall hand over to the Guest a room upon his/her arrival if the Guest checks in at 14.00; the room shall be handed over to the Guest before 14.00 only if the room has been made ready for the Guest.
2.2. The Guest shall present to the Host an ID document at the reception desk for the Host to check in the Guest and a credit card to secure the payment.
2.3. The Host shall hand over to the Guest a hotel key card to enter the room, programmed until the departure date at 12.00 and shall inform the Guest of the time and place of breakfast and other services included in the price of service (internet, library, bicycle hire, post cards, various information, wake-up call …).
2.4. The number of key cards received by the Guest shall equal the number of persons checked in per room.
2.5. The Host shall carry the Guest's luggage only if agreed beforehand.
2.6. On the day of departure, the Guest shall leave the room in its normal state and shall check out before 12.00, pay for the services and hand over the key card to the reception desk staff.

3. Reception desk working hours, breakfast serving time and restaurant opening time
3.1. The reception desk staff are available 24 hours a day.
3.2. Our buffet (self-service) breakfast shall be available to the Guest at the restaurant on the ground-floor on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 6.00 and 10.00 and on weekends (Saturdays, Sundays) and holidays between 7.00 and 10.30. The Guest shall not take food and beverages out of the restaurant.
3.3. The restaurant is open also in the evening but not every day. Its opening time is adjusted to the number of guests at the Hotel and pre-booked groups. At the time of lunch, the restaurant is open only for any pre-booked groups.
3.4. The Guest shall be informed of the opening hours by the reception desk staff. If the restaurant is not open on a specific day the receptionist desk staff shall provide to the Guest information of the nearby restaurants one hundred or more meters away from the Hotel or offer to the Guest a possibility of ordering food through catering services delivering food to the Hotel.

4. Use of hotel rooms and other areas
4.1. The Guest shall be allowed to use the room with the related services and all the facilities, common use areas and services provided by the Hotel to the extent as previously agreed upon by the Agreement and in accordance with the business practice.
4.2. The Guest shall use the room for his/her accommodation and for the accommodation of persons registered at the time of signing the Agreement.
4.3. The Guest shall receive visitors in common use areas of the Hotel.
4.4. Food preparation or cooking in rooms is not allowed. Hotel suites fitted with kitchen and the necessary kitchenware are regarded as an exception.
4.5. The Guest shall not be allowed to bring into the room and common use areas any inflammable and explosive substances as well as substances with a strong or offensive odour.
4.6. The Guest shall use the room and common use areas so as not to disturb other guests.
4.7. Guests shall observe night-time peace between 23.00 and 6.00 in the morning the following day.

5. Guest's liabilities for damages
5.1. Guests shall use the hotel rooms, common use areas and facilities with due care and diligence.
5.2. Guests shall leave the rooms in a reasonable state taking into consideration the normal use of rooms.
5.3. Guests shall be liable to the Host for any damages in the areas and on facilities as well as equipment caused by their own fault. The amount of damage shall be established on behalf of the Host by an authorised person, e.g. head of Reception and Booking Department, head of Maintenance or any other authorised person within the actual costs in order to make good the damage.
5.4. If the Guest and the Host fail to agree on the amount of the damage the court shall make the relevant decision.

6. Safety of guests in rooms and taking care of valuables
6.1. Guests have a safety deposit box available in their rooms for storage of their valuables.
6.2. Guests should make sure any time they leave the rooms that the door to the hotel room is properly locked.
6.3. During the guest's stay at the Hotel the access to the room shall only be allowed on the part of the Host by room attendants and technical support staff if accompanied by room attendants. Computer records are kept of all room entries.
6.4. If any Guest should miss any of their belongings they should immediately notify the reception desk staff. The head or an authorised person shall draft a report, check the computer records on room entries and notify the police, if the Guest so requests.
6.5. The Host's responsibility for the Guest' belongings in the room shall be identified in accordance with the Rules and Standards.

7. Fire safety rules
7.1. Fire safety rules and evacuation route signs are posted in all hotel rooms and corridors.
7.2. The Host advises to the Guest to check upon arrival to the room the location of fire extinguisher, manual fire alarms and evacuation routes. In the event of a fire, the Guest shall observe the fire safety guidelines and the hotel staff instructions.
7.3. For fire safety reasons any use of own heating and cooking appliances in rooms is prohibited.

8. Smoking
8.1. In accordance with the no-smoking rules, smoking is prohibited in all common enclosed areas of the City Hotel.
8.2. Guests are allowed to smoke in all smoking rooms at the Hotel.
8.3. Smoking areas are provided on the ground floor outside the Hotel entrance or behind the exit to the terrace and on the Hotel terrace.

09. Luggage storage
09.1. Before or after check-out, Guests may store their personal belongings–luggage into the luggage store room next to the reception desk.
09.2. Before or after check-out, Guests may store any valuable items, e.g. a laptop in the Hotel safety deposit box or at the reception desk.

10. Hospitality
10.1. The Host endeavours to make sure all the Guests feel comfortable at the Hotel and would ask the Guests to observe the Hotel Rules. In the event of a breach of the Hotel Rules the Host may decline the hospitality to a Guest, charge any cost for damage and forbid access to the City Hotel Ljubljana.
